Hope is a need in all things

Loss confounds the heart

And then the mind

It leads to insanity


Hope is needed to move

Loss stops the heart

And then the soul

It leads to death


Hope is needed to live

It is lost

My heart is blank

My soul is gone

I am lost. Damned.  Dead.
